The Camilo José Cela University participates in the following Times Higher Education (THE) rankings:  World University Rankings THE  UCJC is part of the WUR ranking as a “reporter” since 2022. THE-WUR is one of the most prestigious rankings worldwide. This international ranking evaluates universities according to bibliometric indicators, data provided by the universities and the results of THE surveys.  Young University Rankings THE  Since 2024 UCJC is part of Young University Rankings as a “reporter”, the international ranking of universities under 50 years old.  Impact Rankings THE  The UCJC confirms its commitment to the United Nations 2030 Agenda, and is recognized in 2024 by THE University Impact Ranking, in its work with SDG 5 Gender Equality, SDG 4 Quality Education and SDG 3 Health and Wellbeing.

The Camilo José Cela University has become the university with the greatest progress in the CYD ranking according to its 2024 report. The Camilo José Cela University has been valued within the Ranking of Transparency of Private Universities, as the private university that has made the most progress by improving its ranking position in the 2019 Transparency Examination. The Camilo José Cela University has been highlighted in the Shanghai Ranking, one of the most prestigious worldwide, as one of the 200 best universities in the world in studies related to sports science (“Sport Science Institute”).

The BBVA Foundation U-Ranking presents the Synthetic Indicators of the entire Spanish University System. In 2022 the Camilo José Cela University has maintained its position and stands out for its labor market insertion indicators.

From 2021, Camilo José Cela University will apply for the ranking “The best universities in Spain” of Forbes magazine. The ranking of El Mundo collects the 50 most popular degrees among students and the five best universities where to study them, based on the analysis of different criteria, the opinion of professors and other external studies.   The Camilo José Cela University remains the fourth best university in which to study the Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education since 2021.

2023  The Camilo José Cela University once again stands out as the third best private university in which to study according to the EL ESPAÑOL ranking “Universities -private and public- leading universities in all the autonomous communities”.

2021  In the year 2021 the ranking of El Español has selected the best Spanish universities where to study the 10 most employable degrees based on the report of Infoempleo and Adecco. Camilo José Cela University once again stands out as the third best university in which to study Teaching.   2019  In 2019 the ranking of El Español selected the 15 careers with the most professional opportunities and where to study them, and Camilo José Cela University stood out for the following degrees:

• Primary Education Degree.
• Nursing Degree.
• Degree in Psychology.

On the other hand, the ranking of El Español selected the 10 most innovative careers and the faculties where to study them, and highlighted the Camilo José Cela University for the following degrees.

• Degree in Digital Arts.
• Degree in Video Game Design and Development

The Conversation is a space for dissemination dedicated to the academic and research community and aimed directly at society, whose objective is to transfer and share knowledge with readers, contributing to a better understanding of major contemporary issues and complex questions.   During the 2020-21 academic year, Camilo José Cela University has published 2 articles by 17 different faculty members. Camilo José University has been conducting employability studies since the 2016-17 academic year. In 2023, a new report on employability and assessment of the experience of graduates was presented, in which, as a novelty, two cohorts were surveyed: graduates of the 2016-2017 and 2019-2020 academic year, led by the Careers area, with the collaboration of Grupo Análisis e investigación. Below, you can see the employability rate of bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates from both cohorts.
Graduates are very satisfied with their employment situation:

• Positive perception of the current employment situation (above 8 in all cases) and future (more than two thirds believe it will improve).
• Having a job that is enjoyable/vocational is the main reason for satisfaction with the work situation.

The high employability of the graduates stands out: slightly more than 8 out of 10 are working or about to do so. The university degree is by far the most mentioned aspect for obtaining employment. The current job is mainly stable and full-time (especially among master’s and postgraduate students). The training received at the UCJC enables professional development:

• 78.1% of undergraduate students stated that their work corresponds to the area of knowledge of their studies, compared to 69.3% of master’s degree students and 74.2% of graduate students.
• The requirements of the current position are appropriate to the training.

84% of graduates would certainly return to study the same degree at the UCJC The experience at the UCJC is very positive:

• Mostly meets expectations.
• Almost all of them would repeat both the choice of university and degree program.
• Positive general evaluation of the UCJC experience: it exceeds the average of 7.4 regardless of the study carried out. Only 1 out of 10 graduates is critical (with percentages between 0 and 4).

The results of satisfaction with the technological resources of the University’s bachelor’s and master’s degree programs are shown below.

The university community gives its opinion on the services offered at the UCJC and shows its satisfaction with the areas of the Healthy Campus. The following shows the average satisfaction of the questions asked by areas. It is worth highlighting the interest in the Healthy Campus of the PDI/PAS groups, whose participation has increased by 40% compared to last year. The average satisfaction of the university community with the services offered by the UCJC remains above 4 points out of 5.

The SAD. Service of Attention to Diversity: This Service offers support to students with disabilities at the UCJC and conducts training and awareness sessions for the entire University Community.   You can find more information in the Guidance Department.

The SAED. Attention to students with disabilities, is a service of the UCJC that was created with the aim of covering all the educational and personal needs of students who have some kind of disability, as well as to raise awareness in the university community in those aspects related to the field of disability. The UCJC Foundation is the instrument of the Camilo José Cela University to manage the social impact of its current educational model. The foundation seeks to promote a more humane and sustainable development, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals and Targets (SDGs), in addition to serving as a channel of participation for volunteering, the creation of collaboration agreements with the university, projects, etc.

The mission of the Felipe Segovia Foundation is to project the educational thought and ideals that inspired the work of the founder of SEK Education Group, in order to improve the quality of education, “to perfect the human being and achieve a better society”. The foundation develops its activity around the student, and according to the following axes: educational research and innovation, freedom and education, teaching dignity and leadership.

The UCJC has a collaboration agreement with the ONCE Foundation in order to promote research, inclusion and employment of people with disabilities. In addition, every year we offer the title of Expert in Socio-Labor Skills, a degree co-financed by ONCE and the European Social Fund, which is aimed at facilitating the learning of skills and the incorporation of people with more than 33% of intellectual disability into the labor market.   We have several agreements with leading organizations in the physical disability sector, such as the agreement with the Spanish Paralympic Committee or the Spinal Cord Injury Foundation, among others. These agreements facilitate the research and awareness of students through the development of academic internships, dissemination conferences, etc.
