In the Master’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, internships will be carried out in companies in the logistics and transport sector in order to adapt the contents and training objectives to the practice of the profession.
This selection includes companies such as:
Due to the eminently professional nature of the Master’s Degree in Political Communications and In the Master’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, as stated in the Verified Report, these internships are carried out through the e-star program of the University-Business Foundation. Its operation is detailed below:
Based on the model previously agreed upon by each university and a predefined schedule, the University-Business Foundation is in charge of searching and selecting among companies, associations and public and private institutions, the appropriate cases to be solved by the students, which, in any case, will be subject to prior validation by the University (Academic Tutor).
Once the cases have been approved, they will be distributed among the students assigned to the project and the parties involved will be given access to the platform.
Direct communication will be established between the academic tutor, the student and the business tutor to resolve any doubts or to establish the previous actions that the parties consider pertinent.
Once the objectives of the project have been clarified, the student will assume the obligation to update on the platform, with the periodicity agreed with the university and the company, the progress made in the project. The academic tutor, as well as the company tutor, will have periodical access to these reports, in order to reorient the student’s work if necessary.
The academic tutor will check the quality of the work done and will assign the appropriate credits according to the model implemented by the university. Finally, both the company and the Fundación Universidad- Empresa will certify the practical work done by the student to give the internship its curricular value.
This model proposes the resolution of real case studies proposed by companies, business associations, and other types of public or private institutions through a 2.0 platform that allows the communication of all the agents involved (academic tutor, business tutor, student and University-Business Foundation). The flexibility of this model allows its implementation as a Mandatory practicum in the Master, as an alternative to In-person internships. Likewise, the resolution of these cases may be carried out individually or in groups. The form of implementation will always be the university’s decision.
