Multi-environment Classroom: UCJC Extended Teaching-Learning Model

The new UCJC pedagogical framework transforms theoretical and practical teaching to provide the best learning experience to our students, with innovative teaching methodologies, new technologies and a model of in-person teaching with virtual elements.

You will receive pioneering international training in Spain that includes stays abroad and international projects. In addition, you will have access to a study stay in a global destination such as China, the United States, India or Israel, which will allow you to have a unique and enriching experience.

You will have several international experiences during your studies. You will have an academic stay in Los Angeles where you will attend classes and visit the most important Hollywood studios and the Academy of Motion Pictures Museum that awards the Oscars each year, as well as the Palm Springs Film Festival. You will travel to two other important film festivals (The Berlinale, Berlin International Film Festival and the San Sebastian International Film Festival) where you will experience the ins and outs of the industry as well as the excitement of these major international events.

Our joint degree also offers you the opportunity to obtain an expert diploma in animation and special effects. We also prepare you for official Adobe and Google exams, which will allow you to stand out in the job market.

You will have the opportunity to do internships on real projects. We are a collaborating degree of the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España, and our students, in the course 23-24, have produced the making of the Goya Awards. In our degree, you will have access to Filmin’s catalog of contemporary and classic films, thanks to the collaboration agreement they have with the UCJC. In addition, each student will enjoy an economic endowment in the fourth year to make a short film with professional means.

You will participate in national and international exhibitions and competitions, which will allow you to show your talent and skills at a global level. Some examples are the exhibition at the Museo de Artes y Tradiciones Populares de Madrid, exhibiting their works within the IV Certamen Asteria de Creación Plástica y Mitología, the exhibition of four students’ works at Matadero, within the 50 talents exhibition of the 9th Iberoamerican Biennial of Design, and the Dubai Expo 2021, in collaboration with Jagran Lakecity University. Our students have also participated in the Notodofilmfest, the MINI Awards at Madrid Design Week, and the National Creativity Awards.
