UCJC students win the award for best speakers of the SEPI Foundation National Speaking Tournament

Jessica Prado Díaz and Remigio Loma Morillo took part in the BP SEPI National Tournament representing Camilo José Cela University, organised by the SEPI Foundation.

Different topics were debated throughout the day, from the modification of penalties for financial crime to the restrictions on the transfer policy of football teams. There was even a debate on the societal influence of the famous television program La Isla de las Tentaciones (the Spanish version of Love Island).

Remigio and Jessica, competing on behalf of the UCJC, went on to the final phase and secured second place. Although they did not win the tournament, it should be noted that Jessica received the award for Best Speaker of the competition, and Remigio won the award for Second Best Speaker.
