UCJC students visit Tesla’s offices in Madrid

The students on the Joint Degree in Criminology and Security and Law at Camilo José Cela University visited Tesla’s offices in Madrid on 27 November to learn, first-hand, how its autonomous vehicles worked and the challenges that this progress presents for society.

This face-to-face visit took place as part of the research project ‘The great challenges of autonomous vehicles’, in which the UCJC Science and Research Club are currently working on, made up by students on the Law and Criminology and Security degrees.

Through this project, students research the great technological challenges that autonomous vehicles present today, such as civil and criminal liability, cybersecurity, cyberinsurance and applicable legislation, tutored by the coordinator of the joint degree, María Popiuc.
