Students from the Degree in Communications from University Camilo José Cela watched the coverage and analysis of the election results live on the set of Espejo Público (Antena 3 Noticias) and Al Rojo Vivo (La Sexta) at Atresmedia. The students observed the work of the newsroom, the frenetic pace of the production control room and the news set on such an important news date.
The students were able to talk to the presenter of the election night special, Susanna Griso, during one of the advertising breaks where she assured them that in order to work in live television they had to become accustomed to working with enthusiasm and under pressure. They also spoke with the director and presenter of the most watched news program on television, Sandra Golpe, who took the opportunity to tell them that “you can work in front of the cameras even if you are shy and that the important thing is to get a toe-hold in something and give it your all.”
Students took advantage of their visit to Atresmedia to visit the rest of the departments of the audiovisual group such as Europa FM, Melodía FM and Onda Cero radio stations.
This visit is part of the activities that students on the Degree in Communications enjoy from the first year of their studies to get to know what working life is really like through work placement.
