Two UCJC professors publish research articles in The Conversation for the first time

University Camilo José Cela has published two articles in the last few days, based on research carried out by two of its professors on the platform The Conversation.

“When Science is Put in the Service of Evil” , written by Francisco López-Muñoz, director of the UCJC International Doctoral School of the UCJC, outlines the different lines of research on Nazism, medicine and the holocaust. The field of medicine was involved in the greatest share of horrors and atrocities committed by the Nazi regime during the Holocaust, as was reflected in the Nuremberg Trials.

Likewise, the professor and co-director of the International Degree in Communications, Jorge Gallardo, has also published an article in ‘The Conversation’ under the title “Netflix changes the way to measure the success of TV series” in which he questions the current audience measurement systems accuracy in determining whether or not a television program is successful. He points out that ratings for programs differ according to the mode of consumption, that is, whether the measurement is made only in its linear emission, on demand or streaming.
