UCJC seeks to strengthen relations between universities and Central American and European society

University Camilo José Cela has participated in the fourth international meeting of the IRUDESCA Project (Regional Integration, University and Sustainable Development in Central America), which has taken place in Honduras. Last year, UCJC received visits from Central American and European universitiesThe initiative aims to strengthen relations between universities and the Central American and European social and economic fabric.

Collaborators on the project include Viana Do Castelo Polytechnic Institute (Portugal), ESCP Europe Business School (France) and the UCJC, as the only Spanish university. Also taking part in the project were the Central American universities Rafael Andivar and Universidad del Valle (Guatemala), Universidad UNAH Autónoma and UNITEC Tecnológica Centroamericana (Honduras), Universidad del Salvador and Universidad Centroamericana (El Salvador), Universidad Managua and Universidad Americana de Nicaragua (Nicaragua), Tecnológico de Costa Rica and EARTH and Escuela Agraria de la Zona Tropical (Costa Rica), in addition to the Higher Council for Central American Universities (CSUCA).

UCJC was represented in the Central American country by Ignacio Sell, director of Foundation UCJC, and by Susana Méndez Gago and Lidio Gonsáles Robledo, who is also a member of the Technical Committee of the IRUDESCA project.
