The University Camilo José Cela Almagro Campus has hosted the second edition of the Milo awards gala, organised by the students of the UCJC School of Communications and Hey Media, an agency made up of students from the UCJC Degree in Communications.
These awards aim to reward professionals in the world of communications for their professional track record, in addition to offering other awards for the best short films of the year in different categories.
This year, a Milo Award went to Ismael Beiro, stand up comic and winner of the first Big Brother; Jesus Ortiz, Communications Studies Director; and Nacho Abad, journalist on the Espejo Público TV program and former student of University Camilo José Cela. The three guests also gave talks on their experiences in the world of communications.
Awards were also given in the Short Film, Innovation, Interdisciplinarity and Internationality categories, which went to University Camilo José Cela students excelling in these fields.
