Camilo José Cela University has joined the EUA and EURASHE associations as part of its efforts for internalisation within the framework of its university model. UCJC has thus become a member of the European University Association (EUA) thanks to the significant role it plays in raising awareness on the sector and the opportunities it affords for designing the future of higher education.
The EUA is the official representative of the higher education sector and participates actively and promotes work groups and advisory bodies. The EUA advocates on behalf of universities before the European Commission and other international bodies such as the OECD and UNESCO. It represents and supports 850 higher education institutions in 47 European countries, to which it provides information on innovative trends and fosters cooperation between them.
UCJC has also joined the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) made up of over 57 higher education institutions in 40 countries from the European Higher Education Area and others. EURASHE advocates for the interests of member universities and contributes to the progressive development of the European Higher Education Area. It promotes research, applied technology and organises conferences and seminars.
