UCJC encourages young people to develop their talent at Talent at Work.

Camilo José Cela University celebrated an event promoting talent and developing work skills entitled Talent at Work, held at the UCJC Almagro Campus. Students had the opportunity to find out what are the most in-demand skills and professional profiles on the job market from leading professionals in their field.

With the aim of improving employability, boosting talent and fostering the development of young people’s capacities and professional skills in an increasingly competitive and changing work environment, the aim of this event was to facilitate dialogue between directors of Human Resources, businesses and students.

According to José Luis Málaga, Director of Professional Careers at Camilo José Cela University (UCJC), “at universities and businesses we have the responsibility of collaborating with each other in order to connect talent with reality and prepare our young people and future professionals to face fast-changing, uncertain and globalised world. From UCJC we help students boost their skills in things such as communication, social commitment, critical thinking and entrepreneurship in order to ensure success in the 21st century.

Students attending the Talent at Work event took part in workshops on building their personal brand and were given personalised guidance by experts in human resources. The organising and participating companies presented their vacancies for jobs and internships to university students and conduct interviews as part of the event.
